Circular Maze (1995 – 1999)

Exile might be an option; it implies a waiting time and a possibility, though uncertain, of returning to the origin. Nevertheless, banishment is involuntary, categorical and it defines those who have lost everything and those who cannot come back.

A territory is necessary to set the exiled and the banished one: a desert. And the desert is a sea without water full of borderless islands without shores.

On the island nobody distinguishes between exile and banishment, you only remain, you wait without knowing what but you wait. That is the notion of time which rules the plain.
